About the Event

I love being a god-mother as the grandbabies have not come yet and when this book came out, I had my eye on it.  I remember thinking I have truly had older and younger women in my life teach me and guide me in my purpose and the fullness of God.  I love the women I go to church with and  absolutely love when I have had the privilege of watching them step into their purpose and destiny.  I have laughed when they laughed, I have cried when they have cried and I rejoice when they have had victory.  Being a god-mother has been a process where I have learned to love someone else who is not of my bloodline, to nurture them, to guide them and to teach them about how incredible they are made.   I am not talking about mentoring as I do not want to duplicate  my way of thinking, my way of doing  but to be a part of guiding and encouraging others to step into what God is calling them into and to be a part of  promoting them in to their purpose by sharing my success and also my failures.   Titus 2:3&4 says "teach older women to lives their fearlessly for the Lord to keep them from gossip and addiction as this will enable them to teach the younger women the fullness of God in all aspects of their lives".    Come join me in an eight week Bible study/book study "Godmothers: Why you need one and how to be one" by Lisa Bevere and biblical truths from past bible studies authored by Lois Flewelling.  I am so excited to share this with you to start 2022 establishing who we are as God's children and who we are to each other.
